Immediately south of Pismo Beach is the Oceano sand dune area . It is recognized by scientists, conservationists, government agencies, and the public as the finest, most extensive coastal dunes remaining in California.
Pismo Beach is surrounded by golf courses. There is horseback riding on the beach, fishing off of our pier. Kite surfing is starting to show up on a regular basis when the wind is right. There is a selection of trails to explore ( map .pdf) We have it all!
